Wings Non-Duality for Harpers Bazaar

Non-Duality Harper's Bazaar, Booth Aster
Year:
2015
Location:
Singapore

The Feeling: Money, Meaning and the Well Lived Life
The Fashion: Malay and Indonesian Kebayas
The Facts: I’ve lived in Asia most of my life and really appreciated the yin and yang of life. That it is not about duality. The blue-silver is about money and the logical structures of life, the orange and yellows are the passion and joy in our life while behind these two wings, is a third set of wings. Creamy and light, it’s our soul or deeper self. It took me three weeks to get the wings to balance hanging in mid air.

Invited to the Harpers Bazaar’s Art Prize, these wings show the challenge of modern life in Asia and the possibility of beauty and balance.
