Booth Aster — artist Joanne Flinn, arms open like wings, by the ocean

MAGNIFICENCE,
MADE VISIBLE.

BOOTH ASTER

Contemporary textile sculpture from repurposed luxury

You've always known it was there.

That feeling when something stops you — not because it's beautiful, but because it reminds you of something you once knew about yourself.

That's what I create. Wings that balance on a single point. Paintings where you can feel the music. Sculptures made from silk, from repurposed luxury. Reclaimed materials that were once one thing and now serve something far more extraordinary.

Exhibited at the ArtScience Museum. Artist in Residence, TEDx. Shortlisted for Harper's Bazaar's Art Prize.

Vibration #45 — oil on canvas by Booth Aster, the vibration of a single song made visible, 50cm x 40cm

From the series — music graphically, physically created as lines

Vibration #45

Each painting begins with a song. The brush moves with the music. What emerges is the vibration made visible.

Magnificence is always possible

Whether it's wings for your boardroom, a site-specific installation for a public space or hotel lobby, or a conversation about what art can do — I'd like to hear from you.

Frequently asked

How do I commission a piece?

The process begins with a dedicated discovery session — a creative conversation about your vision, the space, and what magnificence means to you. From there, I develop concept sketches and a proposal. Each step is a mutual commitment. And everything — from concept sketches to a signed certificate of authenticity — becomes part of your piece's provenance. See the full process →

How long does a commission take?

A commissioned piece typically takes three to eight months from confirmed commission to completion, depending on the scale and complexity of the project. You receive photographic updates throughout, and studio visits are welcome at any stage.

Do you deliver internationally?

Yes. Professional packing, insurance, and international delivery worldwide. Where possible, I personally supervise installation.

What formats are Vibrations available in?

Vibrations are available in three formats: original oil on canvas (singles and playlists), curated installations on aluminium with gold leaf (bespoke to the collector), and high-quality aluminium prints. Scale is part of the conversation. Discover your vibration →
